GDPRPLAN.com helps organisations to prepare for the EU GDPR by helping you identify and assess how personal data is stored, processed, and transferred so that you can plan and implement the right policies, procedures and processes in order to achieve and maintain compliance with data protection laws (notably the EU GDPR, DPA 18, and PECR). Our staff training and courses are run by qualified professionals who will train either at your company offices, or at one of our nominated venues.

THE TEAM

Micky Khanna (CIPP/E, CIPM, CISMP, Prince 2, CIS LA, ITIL), Founder of GDPRPLAN.COM

Micky began his digital marketing career in 2001 and has been part of many organisations operating within the Adtech/Martech services including Search Engine Optimisation and Pay Per Click, through to Affiliate, Email, Mobile, and Social Media Marketing, at both Network and Media Owner-side at companies such as Daily Mail General Trust, where he was part of the launch team for londonjobs.co.uk, before leaving to join e-spotting media (later rebranded to MIVA). In 2007 he joined buy.at, a leading affiliate network which was acquired by AOL in 2008. In his last role (2010-2017), Micky steered the growth of Optimus Performance Marketing, a leading Performance Marketing Agency where, as Commercial Director he introduced over 120 brands and retailers across 14 international markets to the agency.

It’s fair to say that there has been a lot of personal data that flows through each of the disciplines and organisations Micky had worked within. Using his digital marketing expertise to combine with the academic qualifications he has achieved, this led to the conception of GDPRPLAN.COM, so that businesses can identify and assess the personal data they store, process or transfer in order to then plan and implement the right systems and measures in order to achieve and maintain data protection compliance.

Micky is CIPP/E (IAPP), CIPM (also IAPP) accredited and is also a trained EU GDPR Practitioner, and also holds certifications in the following::

– Certificate in Information Security Management Principles (accredited by the British Computer Society)

– Prince 2 Project Management certification (certified by AXELOS)

– ISO 27001 Lead Auditor (CIS LA)

– ITIL v4 (certified by Axelos)

“Martin is an excellent trainer. A course with potential to be incredibly dry was instead a pleasure to attend. Martin clearly has the relevant background, skills and expertise to deliver this course (and doubtless numerous others) in an engaging and insightful way – I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Martin to colleagues. Thanks again Martin.
